Katy Perry shares very telling post amid Orlando Bloom 'split'

Just hours after her split was reported, Katy Perry took to Instagram with a telling post.

After “battling to save their relationship,” the Dark Horse singer and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, who she previously said she “would be dead” without, have broken up.

During the days leading up to the announcement, she was spotted looking distraught and sending sad signals to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. Now, the singer seems to be keeping quiet about how she’s really feeling as she posts to Instagram with an entirely unrelated video.

Katy took to Instagram with a montage of videos from The Lifetimes Tour, showing her on stage dancing, singing and flying through the air.

She is currently in the middle of the Australian leg of her world tour so she accompanied the video with a caption that read, “ONLY 4 SHOWS LEFT IN AUSTRALIA LFG ADELAIDE.”

Her social media move completely ignored the news that was broken yesterday by US Weekly.

A source told the publication,, “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment.”

They added, “Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

Just weeks ago, an insider revealed the couple weren’t on the best terms.

They admitted, “It’s true they’re spending time apart.”

“They have been spending more and more time apart. They’ve grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore.”

The source also confessed, “This isn’t the first time the couple have separated.

“It’s happened a few times, but they’ve always worked it out before.”

Katy previously opened up about one of their splits during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Early on in their nine-year relationship, they had broken up for a year and during that time, she had a “really tough year.”

Orlando encouraged her to attend an intensive therapy program known as The Hoffman Process, which he had previously done.

Describing her experience, she said, “I got the tools and spoke the same language and it changed my life.”

The two reconciled the following year, but it doesn’t seem like that same fate is in the cards anymore, as another source said a few weeks ago it’s really “over.”

They also shared that the couple were originally “waiting till her tour was over.”
