Prince Harry 'resents' brother's silence as tensions grow, expert claims
Royal expert and podcast host Amanda Matta has shared her thoughts on the ongoing rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.
Prince Harry is not on speaking terms with his brother Prince William, but one expert believes the nature of their feud might have changed.
The Duke of Sussex stepped away from the royal family five years ago, with tensions rising following the publication of his memoir Spare. In the book, Harry repeatedly hit out at William and his wife Kate Middleton.
Despite the drama, the Prince of Wales has remained silent on the feud. Royal expert and podcast host Amanda Matta believes this silence might anger Harry.

"At this point, Harry’s resentment towards William seems less about the Sussexes' actual exit in 2020 and more about what came after: the silence, the distance," she said.
Matta suggested Harry will likely be feeling as though he's been "iced out" for speaking out against the monarchy.
"There simply has to be frustration that the family won't engage in good faith with the points that Harry has raised, even though he's done so publicly," Matta added to Fox News Digital.
Despite this, she doesn't believe Harry regrets his decision to step down as a senior working royal. The Duke of Sussex now lives in Montecito, California, with Meghan Markle and their two children.
"I don’t think Harry regrets leaving royal life behind, but he may regret how completely that choice cut him off from his father and brother," she explained.

Matta's comments come after a source previously suggested there is "lingering resentment" between Harry and William.
"Harry left a large gap in William’s world, not just personally but practically," the source told Us Weekly. "The whole idea was for Harry to work hand-in-hand with William and to divide and conquer during William’s monarchy. So Harry not being there is tough."
With Harry no longer in the royal fold, the source suggested William will lean more on his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, when he ascends to the throne.
It's believed William will take a slightly different approach to ruling than his father King Charles by making sure to carve out more time for his personal life.
Matta suggested, "He’s quietly carving out more space for his personal life, seizing more privacy for his wife and kids and taking more control over his platform.
"He may not want Harry’s lifestyle, but he’s taken note of what boundaries look like from his brother."
