Kelly Osbourne has shared a touching tribute to Black Sabbath fans following her father's monumental concert last night. The Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, 76, graced the stage for his final performance at the Back to the Beginning festival in Birmingham.

Kelly, who witnessed the sold-out spectacle at Vila Park from the stage, expressed her gratitude to everyone who attended the gig. Holding back tears, she said, "You don't know what you've done for my dad."

Today, with the stage dismantled and Ozzy back home with wife Sharon, she took to Instagram to say, "Hello everyone. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to everybody who came to the show last night."

"Thank you to everybody who was involved in the show. You have no idea what it did for my dad. It was one of the most magical experiences of my entire life," she continued.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Kelly concluded, "If I keep talking, I'm probably going to end up crying again, so that's all I'll say for now, thank you."

Dubbed Back to the Beginning, it was undeniably the end of an era for Ozzy and Black Sabbath last night. As the curtain fell on a career that shaped the industry, a full day of metal featuring the biggest names in the genre, just a stone's throw from the star's childhood home, was the perfect send-off.

Fans from across the globe, including Brazil, Estonia and the USA, flocked to the gig. Despite his frailty and confinement to a bat-themed chair, Ozzy Osbourne delivered an unforgettable performance that moved many in the audience to tears during his final show.

His heartfelt thanks to fans were deeply touching, yet he retained the fiery spirit that made him a star, encouraging the crowd to ramp up their enthusiasm with some choice words. Ozzy ensured his farewell was nothing short of spectacular, exiting to a grand display of fireworks and thunderous applause from his emotional fans.

This marked a rare public appearance for the iconic Birmingham native, who first retired from live performances in 2023 due to multiple surgeries and his battle with Parkinson's Disease.

His "Back To The Beginning" mega-show featured sets from heavy metal giants such as Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Gojira, Anthrax, Lamb Of God, Halestorm, Mastodon, and Rival Sons. An all-star super-group also graced the stage, featuring Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, David Ellefson of Megadeth, and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit.

Video tributes from celebrities underscored the profound influence both Osbourne and Black Sabbath have had on the music industry. Numerous fans also submitted personal videos that were shown at the event, crediting the Birmingham band for pioneering heavy metal and expressing gratitude for their enduring impact on music.

Before his performance, Sir Elton John praised Ozzy with a heartfelt message, "You are one of the most remarkable singers of our time. You are the king, you are the legend. You've been through so much crap in the last few years – I hope this is the best day of your life so far," reports the Mirror.
