Gary Coleman's ex-wife 'flunked' a polygraph test when grilled about the actor's sudden death 15 years ago.

In an explosive new TV series, Shannon Price faces tough questions regarding her ex-husband's, abrupt demise in May 2010. The iconic child star passed away at 42 after a fall at his Santaquin residence led to a fatal head injury and an epidural hematoma.

Shannon Price is put to the test in A&E's 'Lie Detector: Truth or Deception', where she seemingly fails two crucial questions about her late ex-husband. Gary and Shannon tied the knot in August 2007, but their union was brief, ending in divorce just one year later.

A teaser for the episode, set to air on Thursday (July 10), shows Shannon struggling with the polygraph, suggesting deception in her responses.

In a confessional snippet from the trailer, Shannon stated, "I literally, my whole life, have had the odds working against me.", reports the Mirror US.

She continued, "I'm really hoping for a good outcome. Not everyone is perfect at taking a polygraph test, but I have a glimmer of hope that this will work out in my favor, and people will be like, 'Okay, you know what? She's just a normal girl who had an unfortunate situation happen'."

The promotional clip for the two-hour special features former FBI agent and lie detection expert George Olivo posing three probing questions to Shannon: "Did you ever strike Gary during your relationship? Did you intentionally decide to withhold help from Gary when he fell? Did you physically cause Gary to fall that day?".

During her polygraph test, Shannon's responses seemed to trigger false results when she answered "no" to all three questions. George, perplexed by the outcome, reiterates the questions, to which Shannon firmly labels them as "false".

The initial two questions yielded inconclusive results, but the third one, regarding Coleman's fall, was flagged by the polygraph as "deception indicated".

The footage goes on as George stated, "Here's the way I look at it. This question having to do with you doing everything that you could possibly do for Gary when he fell, when you called 911, is an issue that you've had in your mind for 14 years, and it's still not resolved."

Shannon conceded that she "could have helped him a little more", which prompted George to challenge her, "Forget the 911 operator. You were there. Give him a little bit of tough love now. You're not the victim here; he's the victim."

George then asserted, "You failed the exam regarding Gary's fall. There are two things I know for sure, Shannon. One, you were not completely honest with me yesterday during this polygraph session. And two, the other thing I know that's 100 percent certain, is that there is more to this story that hasn't been told."

He concluded, "The body never lies. The body always tells the truth. And your body on that lie detector test spoke loud and clear, there's something that caused you to fail this test."

Gary's death was ultimately ruled an accident, and Shannon was never charged with a crime, which she references following the results. Speaking to host Tony Harris, she explained, "I know where I'm at. I'm at peace. There is a reason I am not in prison. There is a legit reason for that. It's because they did a thorough investigation."
