AMAs 2025 red carpet - Jenna Johnson among best dressed as Heidi Montag stuns in blue
The American Music Awards is back after two years, with stars already lighting up the red carpet ahead of the big night.

(Image: CBS)The American Music Awards are back after a two-year hiatus, returning on May 26 with a brand-new location and broadcast partner. The 2025 AMAs ceremony will be held at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and air live on Memorial Day at 8 p.m. ET.
Jennifer Lopez is hosting for the second time, a full decade after she last held the job in 2015. She’ll also perform during the broadcast, despite a minor injury during rehearsals, and she’s just one of many major names hitting the stage.
Other performers include Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Blake Shelton, Benson Boone, Renee Rapp, and Lainey Wilson. Janet Jackson will receive the Icon Award and perform as well, while Rod Stewart is being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with ten, followed by Post Malone with eight. First-time nominees like Chappell Roan, Zach Bryan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Shaboozey will be watching closely for wins.
The red carpet is now underway, and as always, it’s where the stars make their first statement of the night.
