Pusha T brands mentor Kanye West 'sick' and says they can't collaborate anymore
Pusha T has hit out at his former mentor Kanye West, branding him "sick" and declaring their working relationship is over as he doesn't think of him "as a man"
Pusha T has categorized Kanye West as "sick" and made it clear that their professional partnership is done.
Formerly signed to Kanye's music imprint G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T even rose to the role of president during his tenure there.
Their collaborative history stretches back years, but the dynamic between them took a hit following Kanye's controversial statements in 2022, including the antisemitic comments that resulted in a widespread commercial fallout with brands such as Adidas and Balenciaga severing ties.

In a revealing cover story interview with GQ, Pusha T talked about his current standing with the artist who once served as an influence and advocate for him.
He revealed, "The one thing that I can say about him is that he knows that every issue that he's having and crying about online right now, I've told him distinctly about those things. He don't talk to me like he talks to others."
Being candid with Kanye regarding his stance on his polarizing opinions, he expressed the reasons "why we can't build with each other no more."
He elaborated, "He knows I don't think he's a man."
"He knows it. And that's why we can't build with each other no more. That's why me and him don't click, because he knows what I really, really think of him. He's showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people."

Describing Kanye as "sick," Pusha T continued, "If I take your sickness and take how calculated you've been and disruptive you've been and tried to be to me, then it cancels itself out. I can't look at it as sick, because you're detrimental. You're detrimental to everything."
Pusha T is showcased on Kanye's track 'Diet Coke' from his album 'Donda 2,' yet he expressed feeling creatively marginalized during the recording sessions.
