Why some songs of Tracks II: The Lost Albums might sound familiar
Bruce Springsteen's newest release, Tracks II, contains 83 songs - but fans may recognize a few of the tracks.
Bruce Springsteen’s anticipated release of Tracks II: The Lost Albums is getting plenty of attention from fans, but some of the 83 tracks on the collection may be ones that fans find familiar – because they aren’t completely new songs.
The singer, who has admitted he never really had an interest in remaining famous over the years, has been making headlines for his politically-charged comments and performances, and an ongoing feud with Donald Trump, whom he has blatantly referred to as a “moron” who has caused an “American tragedy.”
However, he has also been at work releasing the new box set, which consists of seven full-length albums that were previously unreleased.

And while the bulk of the tracks are all new songs, a few will be familiar to longtime fans.
While 74 are brand new songs, nine tracks have previously been heard–and are being re-released with new versions.
The tracks that are familiar are a mix of ones that were recorded in different ways and not officially released, or have been on bootlegs.
Those tracks are the songs Johnny Bye Bye, Seven Tears, Waiting on the End of the World, The Little Things, Janey Don’t You Lose Heart, Stand On It, Shut Out The Light, County Fair, My Hometown, and Secret Garden.
The seven albums in the collection are titled L.A. Garage Sessions ‘83, Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, Faithless, Somewhere North of Nashville, Inyo, Twilight Hours, and Perfect World.
The tracks are located on three of the albums–L.A. Garage Sessions 83, Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, and Somewhere North of Nashville.
