Hurricane Idalia

Hurrican Idalia made landfall in Florida, near Keaton Beach, on August 30, 2023. The storm briefly hit Categpry 4 but was recorded as Category 3 when it hit land, making it the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the Big Bend region in more than 125 years.
