Stephen Miller slams Biden administration as visa status of Colorado shooter is revealed
White House Deputy Chief of Staff slammed Joe Biden in a social media post after it was alleged that the suspect in a pro-Israel group was revealed to have entered the country illegally
The White House Deputy Chief of Staff slammed former President Joe Biden's administration in a social media post after it was alleged that the suspect in a horrific attack on a pro-Israel group was revealed to have entered the country illegally. In the wake of the horrific attack, which left eight people injured, federal authorities identified Mohamed Sabry Soliman as the perpetrator.
According to authorities, Soliman is an Egyptian national who, according to Fox News, was in the US on a visa granted by the Biden administration, but had overstayed his time in the country beyond the visa's expiration date. Citing three federal sources, Fox News said that Soliman entered the US via Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, 2022, on a tourist visa.
Reports stated that the visa was good through February 2023; however, it appeared that Soliman had remained in the country well after that date. The sources added that Soliman attempted to apply for asylum and a work permit, which would be valid through March 2025.
"A terror attack was committed in Boulder, Colorado by an illegal alien," Miller, 39, shared on X. "He was granted a tourist visa by the Biden Administration, and then he illegally overstayed that visa."
"In response, the Biden Administration gave him a work permit," concluded Miller. "Suicidal migration must be fully reversed."
The post elicited mixed responses. "The Boulder attack is a wound we share, a stark reminder of the fragility of peace, but to label migration itself as 'suicidal' is to cast a shadow over a far greater truth," one person wrote.

"Immigrants are the backbone of our communities—starting businesses at twice the rate of citizens, filling roles that keep our economy alive, from the fields to the operating rooms," they added. "FBI data tells us crime has fallen 3% since 2023, a quiet testament to the strength of our shared fabric. Why, then, do we let fear paint the picture, when the canvas of reality shows contribution, not destruction?"
"This moment demands more than division; it calls for clarity. The failure lies not in migration, but in a system that let one man slip through the cracks," they concluded. "Let us channel our grief into justice, not blame—into building a future where safety and unity prevail. Who gains from this discord, and what do we lose by believing it? We are better than fear; let us prove it by seeking truth over convenient falsehoods."
"Wasn't he supposed to be collected up and shipped out? I know Biden admin is responsible, but y'all need to move faster if more are in this country," a second person stated. "Blaming the past is justified, but the blame shifts if you don't follow through with immediately finding possibilities and removing them."
According to the FBI, Soliman had yelled "Free Palestine" while setting the peaceful protestors on fire on Sunday afternoon. Six people, ages 67 to 88, have been injured in the attack. At least one is critically injured after suffering life-threatening burns. Authorities have confirmed no deaths.
Soliman has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one with "extreme indifference" and one listed as "deliberation with intent — nonfamily — gun."
“Sadly, attacks like this are becoming too common across the country," said Mark Michalek, the special agent in charge of the FBI's Denver field office. "This is an example of how perpetrators of violence continue to threaten communities across our nation.”
The suspect has been accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a pro-Israel demonstration Sunday afternoon. He was also charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree assault, one count of causing serious injury to an at-risk adult or someone over 70, and one count of using explosives or incendiary devices.
Authorities present at the horrific scene recall seeing the shirtless suspect throwing incendiary devices at the group gathered at the Pearl Street Mall shortly after 3 p.m. The suspect, who yelled statements like "Palestine is free!" at the scene per video footage circulating online, was detained without incident by local police, said Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn.
Various law enforcement bodies were dispatched to the scene to help contain the situation and safely evacuate pedestrians. The victims were taken out on stretchers and rushed to the hospital.
At least one remains in critical condition after police indicated that some of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries. The FBI is describing the incident as an act of terror. However, local police have maintained that the situation is still under investigation, with Chief Officer Redfearn adding that it is "too early to speculate motive."
