Former royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle caused quite the stir when they included Hollywood A-listers George and Amal Clooney on their exclusive guest list that boasted a roster of 600 for their Windsor Castle nuptials on May 19, 2018.

However, during a post-wedding interview with Access Hollywood's Scott Evans, Clooney candidly dodged inquiries about any Royal connections, humorously stating, "I can't tell you that...I am not allowed to."

Amal shared their happiness for Harry and Meghan in an interview, quoted by the Mirror as saying, "We are really happy for the bride and groom. I think they are going to do great things in the world together."

Yet, as Prince Harry's relationship with his father, King Charles, appears strained, the allegiance of George and Amal has come into question.

During their attendance at a Buckingham Palace reception for The King's Trust Awards, they were seen engaging warmly with the monarch.

While it's unclear whether the Clooneys maintain a bond with Harry and Meghan today, the sensational biography Finding Freedom, authored by Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, disclosed how George and Amal once played host to the Sussexes at their Sonning residence in Oxfordshire, entertaining them on two separate occasions.

The splendor of their getaway is captured in a recent publication, "There, they had a secluded decked area and inside was a lounge decorated with traditional club wood panelling, heavy drapes, dark velvets, plush chairs, and a bar."

The book narrates, "Meghan and Amal spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and playing with the twins while George and Harry checked out George's motorbike collection.

"Harry took one of them out with one of his protection officers. George recently had an accident, so he wasn't back on his bike yet."

The narrative continues, revealing that "The Duke and Duchess weren't the only guests that weekend. Eugenie and her fiance, Jack Brooksbank, were already at the villa when Harry and Meghan arrived, their visits overlapping briefly."

In other royals news, a former butler to King Charles has provided insight into a scenario where the monarch might feel it necessary to step in regarding Meghan's business dealings.

Grant Harrold, once an employee of King Charles and Queen Camilla, posited that while the Royal family has refrained from interfering in Meghan's commercial activities thus far, there could be repercussions, such as revoking her HRH title, if used for profit-driven enterprises.

In a conversation with Prime Casino, Harrold deliberated on emerging speculations that the Duchess of Sussex might delve into the hotel industry and brand her lifestyle company As Ever, specializing in 'hospitality services.'

Harrold indicated that should Meghan leverage her Royal standing for commercial use, the Royals might have no choice but to take action.

Grant said that any decision would likely be communicated to Prince Harry by King Charles, who holds the authority to retract their HRH titles if deemed appropriate.

Grant suggested that Meghan's established personal brand does not resonate with such a move into hospitality, declaring it could lead to a costly flop and suggesting that focusing on wellness-related initiatives would be more fitting due to her known interests in health and wellness.

He expressed his skepticism, "I don't quite know why she'll want to go down that route, because from a hospitality point of view, that's going to cost a lot of money, and then she has to run it. If it's a failure, that's going to be a very expensive failure."

"It's difficult to know when you hear these stories, because why would you want to have the hassle of having a hotel. I can understand she wants to have a retreat or something because she's into wellness, but a hotel doesn't really make sense with her brand."

"If she was using her title for something, it's possible they could step in. But it wouldn't be King Charles phoning up personally, it would likely go through Harry," he said.

"The royals haven't stopped them so far, so I doubt this would happen. The only thing they could do in the future is remove their HRHs, for example, which is always a possibility but that's the only thing they could do."
