NASCAR fans appear to be in agreement that Amazon Prime Video's coverage of the Cup Series this past weekend had been a roaring success.

Amazon is hosting five consecutive races in the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, which started with the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte this past weekend.

Their coverage will run through to the Pocono in the Great American Gateway 400. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of the voices in the booth, alongside Adam Alexander and Steve Latarte with Prime beginning its NASCAR coverage and impressing fans this past weekend with their opening event.

The race this past weekend had been the first ever to be live-streamed exclusively to the platform, with the coverage being beloved by a vast majority who tuned in.

One fan said: "I'm sorry but this has been a big upgrade from FOX... loving Amazon's coverage," as another said: "Amazon is killing this. I don't recall a broadcast this good since the 2000's."

A third had written: "Amazon Prime treating NASCAR races how it used to be treated; Dignity, quality and extensive coverage. This is how it used to feel 20 years ago and its sooooo damn refreshing. I love it. They can cover every Cup race from here until the end of time as far as Im concerned!"

Another said: "Big. Big. Fan of Amazon Prime's NASCAR broadcast team. Shame they only get 5 races."

While the coverage of the race, commentary and promotion had all gone smoothly, many others had noted how good the chemistry between the crew had been.

DON'T MISS...

Concerns had arisen with many fans when learning that NASCAR would move from FOX to Amazon Prime for the next five races, but the streaming platform has gotten off to a perfect start, it seems.

The Cup Series will be in Nashville next weekend.
