Ana de Armas addresses Tom Cruise rumors - ‘Obviously, everyone knows’

Rumors have been heating up about a possible romance between Ana de Armas and Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise, who have been spotted out together several times in the last few months.

The Knives Out star's relationship history includes actor Marc Clotet, with whom she was married for two years, Hollywood talent agent Franklin Latt, Cuban artist Alejandro Piñeiro Bello, and actor-director Ben Affleck after meeting on the set of Deep Water.

The 37-year-old has remained tight-lipped about a potential romance, but has revealed that a collaboration is in the works. "Obviously, everyone knows I'm working with Tom Cruise," Ana said during an interview with Women's Wear Daily published on May 22.

Apparently, the two are "working on something" with action directors Christopher McQuarrie and Doug Liman.

"Those guys are unbelievable at everything they do," the Blonde star gushed. "And they're so lovely and a great team, and the process we're having is amazing."

"Of course I’m doing crazy training, as you do when you're working with Tom," she added.

Ana went on to say, "It's another level that just keeps setting the bar higher and higher. But it’s so much fun. And we're not only working on that thing that we're training for, but also a couple other things too. We just got excited."

Romance rumors began to swirl after she and the 62-year-old movie star were spotted together in February, having dinner in London on Valentine's Day Eve. The pair were spotted at a couple more dinners in March and April.

On April 29, the day before Ana's birthday, TMZ snapped pictures of her and Tom in a helicopter with the Eyes Wide Shut star behind the helm. The next day, they were seen walking in the park together before having dinner at a Mexican restaurant in London later in the evening.

Ana and Tom also attended David Beckham's 50th birthday party together on May 3. A fellow party guest told Page Six that they "came together and had a great night and clearly enjoy hanging out," but there is still "no proof it’s romantic."

Her next project, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, is set in the same action-packed universe as the iconic John Wick franchise.

Ana stars as Eve Macarro, a ballerina-assassin who begins training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma and sets out to avenge her father's death. Keanu Reeves will reprise the titular role for the John Wick spinoff. Perhaps Tom, who is known for his death-defying stunt work, has been mentoring Ana, who opted to perform all her own stunts in Ballerina.
