Melania Trump compared to Lady Diana by fans at Trump's military parade
Melania Trump's outfit choice was compared to the late Princess Diana as she supported her husband Donald Trump at the Army anniversary parade on June 14.
Melania stood by her husband, Donald Trump, at his Army anniversary parade, and all eyes were on her outfit.
The First Lady donned a demure-looking cream suit as she stood solemnly next to her husband for the inaugural address.
Fans and critics took to X, formerly Twitter, to say how closely her wardrobe choice resembled that of the stylish late Princess Diana. One person said, "Melania giving off Lady Diana vibes."

A second fan said, "The First Lady, Melania, looks beautiful." Another felt similar as they said: "Melania looks beautiful as usual!!!". "Watching the parade right now, Melania looks stunning as always," posted another.
However not all onlookers thought she looked good, as one pointed out that the First Lady of the United States looked 'tired', as they posted: "Melania looks washed out. Aging is not treating her kindly. This is tough to watch."
The Army anniversary parade celebrated 250 years of the militia in the United States and concurred on the same day as Trump's 79th birthday. The Army first emerged on June 14, 1775 when the Second Continental Congress voted for its formation following the battle of Lexington and Concord, where America won against the British. Then on the subsequent day, June 15, George Washington was made the commander in chief of the forces.
The event was previously stated to have cost $25 to $45 million and featured more than 6,000 soldiers, 28 Abrams tanks, 28 Bradley Fighter Vehicles, 28 Stryker vehicles, four Paladin self-propelled howitzers, eight marching bands, 24 horses, two mules and one dog named Doc Holiday, per ABC News.
Throughout the day, there have been lives performances including the U.S. Army Drill Team, U.S. Army Band: Latin Music Ensemble, U.S. Army Band: Downrange, DJ Nyla Symone, Scotty Hasting, a Army veteran who was wounded in Afghanistan, and country singer Noah Hicks.
Along with the parade came anti-Trump protests called "No Kings". Many, including Democrats, have criticized the parade and its exorbitant cost. Sen. Tammy Duckworth and Amy veteran wrote on X: "If it was really about celebrating military families, we could put $30 million toward helping them offset the cost of their child care, food assistance and tuition. But it isn't. Trump is throwing himself a $30 million birthday parade just to stroke his own ego."
