The motive behind the stabbing remains unclear. However, sources indicate that the 'Talk to Me' singer was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.

Reports suggest that he was transported to a civilian hospital located in Bakersfield.
This shocking incident comes just a week after the 32 year old shared images of his muscular physique from behind bars on social media, hinting at the release of a new album soon, reports The Mirror.
Lanez is currently serving a decade-long sentence for the 2020 shooting of rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion, aged 30.
In December 2024, Megan sought a restraining order against Tory Lanez, accusing him of engaging in alleged 'psychological warfare'. However, his legal team vehemently denied these allegations.
Megan alleged that she was being targeted online by bloggers who were collaborating with Tory. She accused the singer of working with these online writers to disseminate false information about her and wage "psychological warfare."

Furthermore, she voiced concerns about the timing of some of his legal actions, given that she had several projects underway at the time.
One notable instance is her Amazon Prime documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, which premiered on Halloween last year. In the documentary, the music sensation opened up about the significant emotional toll the legal battle with Lanez had on her mental well-being, revealing that she struggled with depression.
In response, Lanez's representative told TMZ in December: "Megan's claim that Tory filed legal docs to undermine her new Amazon Prime documentary is 'ridiculous."
However, in January, Megan was granted a five-year restraining order by the judge. During the court proceedings, Megan expressed her concerns: "It just seems like I have to relive it every day. The person who shot me won't let me forget it ... I feel like maybe he'll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won't make it."
