The latest event in May 2025 follows another sighting earlier in the year, while 2023 saw a notable number of 10 occurrences registered.
According to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register, the eyewitness was partaking in the Loch Ness Quest when they observed what they believed to be the aquatic beast.
A post on the Loch Ness Monster Sighting website detailed the incident: "He (the visitor) said that he was at the high vantage point overlooking Urquhart Bay when he spotted a small motor boat entering the Bay.
"When he checked it out through binoculars he spotted something long and thin pop up in the boat's wake.
"It vanished a few times but he managed to catch it on film. The sighting lasted 3-5 minutes and took place at 3.40pm."
Despite the skepticism surrounding its existence, the myth of the Loch Ness Monster persists, fuelled by continuous reports of sightings throughout the years.

The first reported sighting this year occurred on March 22, with the creature described as a 'black mass' lurking just beneath the lake's surface.
This initial 2025 sighting took place at Dores Beach, where the observer managed to capture a photo of what they believed to be 'part of the body' of the legendary Scottish creature, Nessie.
The encounter lasted for several minutes on March 22, providing a "clear view" of the enigmatic beast.
The official register documented the witness's account of seeing something "large and alive and swimming in the water."
The observer described a graceful movement, featuring "two humps" as is often reported, but noted that the creature's head was "hidden."
The individual who reported the sighting in March was convinced they had seen "one long creature", leaving many still undecided about Nessie's existence.
The Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register has been logging Nessie sightings by visitors to the loch since 1985.
The official sightings website even notes that the "very first sighting was recorded in 565AD by St Columba" during his travels to Inverness.
The 'original Latin description' of this 565AD sighting can be found on the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register.
