NASCAR results in full as Ryan Blaney holds off Denny Hamlin in Nashville
The NASCAR Cup Series rolled into Nashville for latest race of the 2025 season, which was an interesting contest with plenty of drama after a slow start
Ryan Blaney held off the challenge of Carson Hovecar and Denny Hamlin to win the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
On Sunday, Blaney finally claimed his first win of the season. The 2023 Cup Series champion has had strong performances, including a third-place finish at Kansas Speedway and a runner-up finish at Martinsville Speedway, but had not secured his first victory of the season until Nashville.
After Ross Chastain won the Coca-Cola 600 last week, a race in which the No. 12 failed to finish, Blaney hit back to claim victory. It was an interesting race that saw Toyota drivers struggle with mechanical issues while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. warned Carson Hovecar to stop his aggressive driving after their collision.

Plenty of drivers suffered from issues during the Cracker Barrel 400, a race that quickly descended into a battle of attrition. The first caution of the day came after Hamlin had claimed Stage 1.
On Lap 113, Hocevar drove hard into Turn 3 and nudged Stenhouse Jr. Stenhouse spun and backed into the wall. He needed to complete a pit stop, and needed to stop again shortly after as his toe was affected.
The first caution of the day came after a trio of Toyota drivers - Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs, and Chase Briscoe - all struggled with brake issues after Lap 72. Chase Elliott’s Chevrolet came down with the same issue at the start of Stage 2.
Midway through the second stage, Christopher Bell crashed on the next restart after seemingly clipping Erik Jones when both men were battling in the top 10. Bell backed into the wall hard in turns 1 and 2 and came down as Jones drove down on the bottom lane.
Elliott needed to take evasive action in order to avoid Bell as he spun up the track. Another major crash occurred during the second stage involving Noah Gragson, Alex Bowman, and Kyle Larson.
Bowman appeared to have misjudged the corner, driving up the track before collecting Gragson. Ryan Blaney took Stage 2 by 2.5 seconds over William Byron.
