Jannik Sinner issues relationship update after being snapped with stunning influencer
Jannik Sinner will face French wildcard Arthur Rinderknech in the first round of the French Open on Sunday and the Italian has been speaking to the media ahead of the tournament
As he gears up for his return to Grand Slam tennis at the French Open, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner maintains that he's still playing the singles game off the court as well.
Fresh from a three-month doping ban, Sinner made it to the final of the Rome Masters in his first tournament back. Ahead of his home event, the Italian tennis star clarified that he was "not in a relationship" and was neither dating WTA star Anna Kalinskaya nor seeing Russian model Lara Leito.
Despite recent photos with a Danish influencer in Copenhagen, the 23 year old laughed it off, saying: "No, no, there was no girl. I had just some business with a couple of photo shootings there. That's it. Nothing else."

Sinner, the top seed, lost only one set on his way to the Rome final and even had two set points against Carlos Alcaraz in the opening set of the final before succumbing to the Spaniard. The world's top two are set to face off again in the final on June 8.
When questioned about his physical condition ahead of a Grand Slam, Sinner admitted: "It's going to be different. I felt in Rome that we have had some stats from that tournament where some were good; some were not where I want to be. And that's exactly I felt on court. So there is a lot of room to improve.
"Hopefully we are on time to make small changes for here. There are no miracles, no? I need some time. Matches are different than practice sessions. But yeah, we are working hard, trying to reach the physical level I would like to, and how I would like to feel on court.
"We have seen a couple of things where I can improve, and Grand Slams are just different. You know, you have to be mentally ready, physically too trying to use the right energy. It's all about being consistent and solid.
"But best-of-five is going to be a great test for me, trying to understand where I am. Yeah, let's see how my body will respond here. Yeah, let's see if I can do that.
"As the warmth of a hero's welcome still lingers back in Rome, tennis prodigy Sinner prepares to rally against France’s Arthur Rinderknech in the intense opener, with a potential matchup against a local wildcard in the wings should he triumph.

"It's definitely going to be different," he anticipated. "I know that. But I don't think they have something against me, no? It's right that they support the players who are from here, who are local here. It's the same when I play against an American player in US Open. So it's normal.
"I got an amazing atmosphere in Rome because I'm Italian. It's right that the player who play in this city or country, that they got more support.
"So I know that. Last year I played also against some French players here. So I know a little bit what to expect. Different moment because whatever happened happened. So let's see. I cannot answer that question."
