Sabalenka shares private Djokovic moment after urging media to 'leave him alone'
Aryna Sabalenka shared a sweet private moment with Novak Djokovic on social media just hours after urging journalists to 'leave him alone' in a press conference
Tennis ace Aryna Sabalenka opened up about an adorable exchange with Novak Djokovic right after she voiced out against the media's portrayal of the famed tennis star. The WTA's top seed and a strong contender for the French Open title called on the press to ease off Djokovic.
Not long after her statement, Sabalenka shared a charming video clip on Instagram showcasing a warm embrace with the Serbian champion.
In her Instagram story, we see the Belarusian superstar approaching Djokovic for a hug before pulling out her phone to share a photo with him.

It seems she was showing the 38 year old a throwback image featuring him with her goddaughter, who appears less than thrilled in the snap beside Djokovic.
Sabalenka playfully captioned the post: "I was just curious what he did to my goddaughter lol."
Her social media activity followed a vocal backing of Djokovic during a press event post her victory over Olga Danilovic at Roland Garros. She expressed her belief that the 24-time major winner has enough in the tank to compete for at least another two years, despite his patchy performance of late and the emergence of fresh talent.
When prompted about Djokovic, Sabalenka was firm: "You guys are trying to put as much pressure as you can on Novak. Leave him alone! Look at him. He's fit. He's strong. Mentally and physically, I think he's ready to play another two or three years. I don't know."
Sabalenka expressed her admiration for Djokovic, saying: "He's doing really well. Of course, everyone has ups and downs. The older you get, the tougher it gets to stay consistent on the level.
"But we see whenever he's ready, whenever he's healthy and fit, he's there. He's playing great tennis. Just leave him alone. Let him just be.

"It was so sad to see the ceremony. [The] Big Four were on the court. You understand that three of them retired. Everyone is missing their game. Just leave Novak to be there, to fight, and to show his greatness and to inspire the next generation."
Sabalenka is set to face Amanda Anisimovic in the fourth round tomorrow, while Djokovic is scheduled to battle Filip Misolic in the third round tonight.
