Drake has left his fans and followers on tenterhooks with his latest social media upload.

The 38-year-old Canadian-born rapper took to Instagram on Monday (March 10) to share a handful of snaps with his 143 million followers. The cover photo for his carousel post showed him posing for a selfie in a black leather bomber jacket adorned with gold diamonds.

Elsewhere in the photo dump, the Hotline Bling singer included a video of him on stage, seemingly during mid-performance, as he wafted away white feathers that were scattered all around him.

It also featured a picture of some Zofran pills, which are used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, migraines, or surgery, as per Drugs.com, a selfie of himself in a car and a picture of a room lit up with blue lighting.

In terms of Drake's usual social media uploads, this post was nothing out of the ordinary for the rapper - but the same couldn't be said for his caption.

"U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore," the Nokia singer began.

"I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy," he continued, adding, "But I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me," followed by a hushed face and a gush of wind emoji.

Despite the unclear message, fans were quick to flood the comment section with words of support. Content creatir Kevin Hamdan wrote, "GOAT," as NBA shooting coach @lethalshooter penned, "Chess not CHECKERS… He understands it."

Fan @everybodyknowscj_ chimed in, adding, "Been the biggest," with user @official_ggl_music gushing, "Honesty as clarity not charity… I felt that."

As follower @grandwizardchatnigga said, "Next chapter loading," with @_geerts pointing out, "And the Zofran lol, you makin em sick."

NFL official confirm they sent snubbed rapper an apology over halftime show [UPDATE]

While the opening line of his caption about growing up “non confrontational” could refer to last year’s infamous beef with Kendrick Lamar – as in August, Drake teased “round two” in the feud though nothing has stemmed from it so far – the rest of his post is up to interpretation.

Drake's latest music move came on Valentine's Day when he teamed up with PartyNextDoor for the album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which earned 287.04 million on-demand streams in its first week.

Then, he kicked off his first Australian and New Zealand tour in eight years but cut the run short with four shows left due to “scheduling conflicts”. Just days after the cancellation, he was seen front-row at WWE’s Elimination Chamber event in Toronto, Canada.

Last week, it was reported Drake had settled his payola dispute with iHeartMedia and iHeartRadio after filing a legal action in November claiming that the two companies had received “covert payments” from Universal Music Group to promote Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us.

Drake filed a separate lawsuit against UMG in January alleging “defamation,” claiming that UMG knowingly released Kendrick's notorious Not Like Us diss track and even approved of the song despite the lyrics describing Drake and his inner circle as “certified pedophiles.”

Drake has reportedly since dropped “key allegations” in the case, and UMG has until March 17 to file for a dismissal of the case.
