Phillip Solomon made headlines during his appearance on Deal or No Deal Island as he was brutally eliminated by David Genat, someone he had considered an ally.

Phillip had made a deal with David to help get each other through to the next round. So, when Phillip was given the option of taking a $75,000 prize and giving David the power to eliminate someone, it seemed like a good deal.

However, David went back on his deal and eliminated Phillip. Despite his time on the NBC show coming to an end, Phillip told The Express US he would be happy to make a reality TV return.

"I'd go on another reality show in a heartbeat," Phillip admitted. "I'm a total reality TV connoisseur."

Explaining what it is that draws him to reality TV, he said, "I've always loved the mix of strategy, social dynamics, and spectacle, whether it’s intense competition shows like Survivor, The Challenge, or The Traitors, or the iconic lifestyle and entertainment moments from Drag Race or Watch What Happens Live."

Phillip continued, "Being on Deal or No Deal Island just deepened my love for the genre. It’s such a unique way to test yourself, connect with people and show different sides of who you are."

He then joked that if The Masked Singer ever called, he'd be "ready with choreography and a costume idea."

Phillip spoke fondly about his time on Deal or No Deal Island, telling us, "I’ve always loved challenges — both physical and mental — and Deal or No Deal Island offered the perfect mix of both."

Phillip also works as a personal trainer, often pushing people to his limits. He admitted, "The idea of stepping into a high-stakes game where strategy, grit and instinct all come into play really excited me."

He said the experience taught him a lot, especially about trust. Phillip explained, "On the island, things change fast and you can’t always rely on the plan you walked in with.

"I had to learn when to lead, when to listen and when to pivot." He concluded, "It was humbling, empowering, and honestly, life-changing."
