French Montana abruptly exited a podcast sit-down when the conversation turned to Drake and Rick Ross, resulting in an unexpected walkout.

During his guest appearance on the "Sited with Rah Ali" podcast, the 40-year-old Moroccan-American rapper talked about his tunes and career trajectory.

Yet, the moment Rah Ali brought up French's pals and musical partners Rick Ross and Drake – who have been trading barbs in their revived beef since 2024 – French said he suddenly remembered a parking issue and excused himself to check on his car.

The YouTube-released interview sees French peacefully removing his headset and handing them over to Rah.

He excuses himself saying, "I'll be right back. I think I double parked my car outside," and then he left the scene, with Rah later remarking that he didn't return.

Prior to his departure, French seemed to be enjoying the interview, as revealed by a Page Six source, enthusiastically talking about his artistic development and performing at the World Cup.

But the mood reportedly changed after Rah questioned him about his romantic life, which French preferred to keep under wraps.

The same insider shared that French started to show signs of annoyance when probed about his private life but made his exit after being asked about the strain between Drake and Rick.

Despite his abrupt leave, Onside! Media cameras continued filming until French requested they stop, even though he had previously collaborated with both Rick and Drake in 2012, reports the Mirror US.

Many YouTube users shared their opinions on the interview, with comments such as "When I say no questions about Drake, I mean NO QUESTIONS ABOUT DRAKE!" and "He wasn't feeling the interview the moment the relationship q was asked."

Another viewer expressed appreciation for the interviewer's approach with, "I love how you kept it cool and you continuously gave him his flowers. Touched on his philanthropy and all. Based on his reaction he might still be sensitive to the situation, but he could've handled that better. Pride man.."

One person critiqued the interviewee's reaction, noting "Dude got paid then walked out because he doesn't want answer questions that makes him look bad not realizing he is already there. Dude asking for a personal life when you literally live off fame and putting yourself out there is just ridiculous."

However, some blamed the host, saying "Yall don't respect ppl!!! I know his team told yall what questions to ask and what not to ask."
