Katy Perry hints at 'life purpose' in telling post after split from Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry appeared to hint at what her "life purpose" is based on the phase of the moon on the day she was born.

The pop star, who recently ended her engagement with Orlando Bloom, reposted a video by a content creator who teaches followers "the laws of the universe" which she says can "heal" their life if used to someone's advantage.

In the video, the Instagram influencer explains, "The phase of the moon that was during your date of birth determines your purpose."

Katy, 40, was born on October 25, 1984 - and on that day, the moon was in a Waning Crescent phase. This means it was past the full moon phase and getting smaller in appearance.

The content creator said, "If you were born on a Waning Crescent, you are here to complete the mission that you feel.

"You are ending things that no longer serve the collective. You are setting the new stone for new chapters. You are here to save people."

Katy shared the video on her Instagram Stories and didn't add any comment to it. Meanwhile, she has also reposted some snippets from her concerts on social media.

One of her recent posts was a montage of videos from The Lifetimes Tour, showing her on stage dancing, singing and flying through the air.

She is currently in the middle of the Australian leg of her world tour so she accompanied the video with a caption that read, "ONLY 4 SHOWS LEFT IN AUSTRALIA LFG ADELAIDE."

Her social media move completely ignored the news that was broken by US Weekly.

A source told the publication, "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment."

They added, "Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life."

Just weeks ago, an insider revealed the couple, who share a four-year-old daughter, weren't on the best terms. They admitted, "It's true they're spending time apart.

"They have been spending more and more time apart. They've grown apart and aren't living the same lives anymore."

According to an insider, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor took Daisy to meet up with her mom before jetting off to Italy for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice this week.

"It's not messy between them," the source noted.
