Although the movie garnered just a 67% score on Rotten Tomatoes, it has received an outstanding fan approval rating of 93%. Viewers intending to check out the movie should heed forewarnings from some fans.
Directed and written by William Eubank, renowned for starting as a camera operator on Tom Cruise's Collateral and evolving into a sought-after director, his portfolio includes such titles as Love, The Signal, Underwater, and Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin. David Frigeiro is also noted as a co-writer.
The story follows a Delta Force squad caught in a surprise attack and a new officer's steadfast resolve not to abandon them during the intense 48-hour ordeal, with critical aid coming from an Air Force drone navigator.
The ensemble includes renowned actors, with Liam and Luke Hemsworth taking on significant roles, alongside Academy Award winner Russell Crowe as the droning ace, "Hollyoaks" alum Ricky Whittle turned Hollywood A-lister, and Milo Ventimiglia who has made his mark in "Heroes" and "This Is Us."
Despite a middling 67% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the action-packed 'Land of Bad' has won over audiences with an impressive 93% fan approval. However, Surrey Live warns that some die-hard fans advise skipping the trailer.
