Sydney Sweeney's complete dating history as Glen Powell speaks out on romance rumors

Sydney Sweeney sent fans into a meltdown when she called off her wedding to Jonathan Davino.

The Euphoria actress, 27, dated Jonathan for seven years before she called time on their relationship. A source claimed the TV star is hoping to focus on her career and was starting to feel "overwhelmed" about the wedding.

Since news broke of Sydney's canceled wedding, fans have been speculating about if she's found someone new. One suggestion is her Anyone but You co-star, Glen Powell.

With fans speculating Glen and Sydney could be more than friends, she appeared as a guest at his sister's wedding and the rumor mill went into overdrive. Here, we've taken a look at the rumors and who Sydney has previously dated.

Jonathan Davino

Businessman Jonathan Davino was first linked to Sydney Sweeney in 2018 after they were spotted at an Emmys party in Los Angeles.

In October of that year, the pair were pictured at an InStyle and Kate Spade dinner party. The pair sent fans into a frenzy in November 2020 when they were spotted kissing in Hawaii, where Sydney was busy filming The White Lotus.

Jonathan even joined Sydney as she promoted her movie with Glen Powell, Anyone But You.

However, trouble hit and the pair postponed their wedding in February this year. Then, on March 31, it was reported the pair had officially split.

A source told People Magazine Sydney "didn't feel right" about continuing with their relationship.

"She’s not ready to settle down," they explained. " They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now."

While Sydney and Glen have never dated, fans have become convinced there's a romantic spark between the pair.

The two actors were surrounded by affair rumors while promoting their romcom Anyone But You, but Glen eventually set the record straight. He explained how they'd played up to the rumors to get more publicity for the film.

"I don’t have the mental capacity to pull anything like this off, but she’s very smart," Glen told Business Insider. " And look, Sydney and I do have authentic chemistry."

He added, "It was a lot easier for Sydney to lean into something like that because she’s in a very committed and wonderful relationship and she’s very happy."

Then, in March of this year, Sydney and Glen were spotted at a Dallas restaurant together.

Sydney even got herself an invite to Glen's sister's wedding, adding further fuel to the rumors.

Addressing the rumors

A source has spoken out to deny the rumors of a romance between Glen and Sydney.

"There is nothing going on romantically between Glen and Sydney. They are just friends," they told Us Weekly. "Sydney is close with the entire family."

Glen also seemed to address the rumors after pictures surfaced of Sydney at his sister's wedding, with some fans speculating she was his plus one.

"You know, timing is everything in this world," he joked during an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends.

Glen added, "[Leslie] and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding. The Powells know how to crank it up!"
