Freddie Mercury's secret daughter has spoken out about her relationship with the Queen star, and it's clear that he made every effort to ensure she knew she was 'cherished'
It has been revealed that Queen's legendary frontman Freddie Mercury had a secret daughter, whose identity he kept hidden from the world.
The woman, who still remains anonymous and is only known as B, admitted she has lived a private life since her childhood where she was known about by only a select few.
Despite now speaking about her famous father, her identity continues to be protected.

Freddie is said to have had an affair with a friend's wife in 1976, and the only ones aware of B's existence were his bandmates, family, and long-term partner Mary Austin.
The decision by Freddie Mercury to keep his secret daughter's identity private for 15 years led many to speculate that their relationship was distant. However, this couldn't be further from the truth.
In the new biography Love, Freddie, penned by Lesley-Ann Jones, it's revealed that the Queen icon made every effort to foster a close bond with B.
In fact, in a handwritten letter published in the book, B stated that Freddie treated her like a "treasured possession."
Freddie tragically passed away from AIDS in November 1991, but before his death, he frequently visited B at the home she shared with her mother and stepfather.
According to Lesley-Ann, even though B was raised by her stepfather, she knew from a young age that Freddie was her biological father.
To maximize quality time with her, the singer even had a room in their family home.
While touring the globe with Queen or crafting hits in the studio, Freddie Mercury never failed to phone his beloved B every day.
Lesley-Ann Jones, in a conversation with the Daily Mail, shared insights into Freddie's personal life: "She knew from toddlerhood which of the two men was her real father."
Jones further revealed the extent of their privacy, stating, "Outside the unusual family, privacy and discretion were maintained to a degree that not even some members of Freddie's personal household had any idea that he had a child."

A touching handwritten letter from B herself underscores the deep bond between Freddie and his daughter.
The letter expressed, "Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life."
B continued to describe the unique nature of their connection: "He adored me and was devoted to me. The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people's standards, unusual and even outrageous. That should come as no surprise. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me. He cherished me like a treasured possession."
Despite the intrigue surrounding her lineage, B has always embraced a life away from the spotlight, prioritizing the tranquility of her family life abroad.
She explained her stance on privacy: "The life I live with my husband and our family in another country is intensely private. We want things to stay that way. We cherish our peaceful and anonymous life, and we want nothing to disturb it. Nobody needs to know who I am."
