Hollywood couple marks major marriage milestone with rare photo montage

Although they may be less in the spotlight these days, Hollywood couple Robert Wagner, 95, and Jill St. John, 84, made sure to acknowledge their major marriage milestone with a tribute to their life together on social media.

Wagner, who had a controversial past due to his marriage to Natalie Wood, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife of 35 years.

While other Hollywood couples have also celebrated milestones recently, like Julia Roberts and Danny Moder who have been married 22 years, and others navigate their new lives together, Wagner and St. John’s story is one that is still admired.

Now, Wagner is making sure to acknowledge not only their love story, but their history, with fans seeing it as well.

He did so with his post, which also featured a series of photos of the two together.

“35 years of love, laughter and partnership with my beautiful Jill,” Wagner, 95, wrote of his 84-year-old wife.

“Every day by your side has been a blessing. Happy Anniversary, my love.”

The photos appeared in a video montage, and included several images of the pair over the years.

He also shared a sweet message via text overlays on the video.

“Happy 35th anniversary,” he wrote. “You don’t know how good you really are. Jill is a man’s woman and I’m lucky she chose me to be her man. You can’t look in these eyes and not smile yourself.”

“And here’s my deepest truth,” he continued. “We’ve been together more than 30 years and I still have a sense of discovery with her. Every single day that accompanies an underlying feeling of security and contentment. The best of both worlds. I owe her everything. I love you.”

The couple met in the 50s and co-starred together in How I Spent My Summer Vacation. However, they didn’t start dating until 1982 and married in 1990.

Wagner was previously twice-married to Natalie Wood from 1957-1962 and 1972-1981, when she died in a drowning accident off Santa Catalina Island. Between those marriages, he was also married to Marion Marshall from 1963-1971.

He is the father of his daughter Courtney, who he shared with Wood, and became legal guardian of his stepdaughter Natasha Gregson Wagner, after her death. He is also the father of Katie Wagner from his marriage to Marshall.

St. John, meanwhile, was married three times before wedding Wagner.

She was married to Neil Dublin from 1957-1958, Lance Reventlow from 1960-1963 and Jack Jones from 1967-1969.
