Blake Lively promotes family-friendly projects as legal battle with Justin Baldoni escalates and friendship with Taylor Swift unravels.
Blake Lively says she's choosing family-friendly projects to make her children proud.
The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram Tuesday to promote Underdogs, a new National Geographic docuseries narrated and executive produced by her husband Ryan Reynolds.
In a heartfelt caption, Lively reflected on what drives her work today.

“The older we get, the more we work to make our kids proud,” Lively wrote.
“Which is exactly why @vancityreynolds is carrying the 'shows you can watch as a family' torch with @underdogsnatgeo.”
Lively herself recently narrated Secrets of the Penguins, a three-part Nat Geo series that premiered April 20.
“Narrating Secrets of The Penguins for @natgeo was a highlight of my year,” she added.
The couple, married since 2012, share four children: daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2.
Lively praised Underdogs producer Sophia Travaglia for bringing the project to life.
“From ideation, to camping out in the bush with these sweet creatures, to narration sessions, to marketing... to today. The dream producer. The dream team,” she wrote.
Underdogs debuts June 15 and highlights animals at the bottom of the food chain.
Lively also poked fun at her own filmography, posting a clip of her A Simple Favor co-stars discussing scenes that were hard to film.
When Henry Golding joked about a risqué shower scene, Lively quipped in text over the video, “Also, I had to make Secrets of the Penguins. Because it’s not like my kids can watch my other movies.”
The actress is currently involved in a high-profile lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment and fostering a hostile work environment.
Baldoni has countersued for $400 million in a defamation suit that also names Reynolds.
Both sides deny the allegations, with a trial set for March 2026.
