Danica Patrick showed true colors with comments on facing ex in final NASCAR race
Former NASCAR star Danica Patrick admitted she would not race her ex Ricky Stenhouse Jr. any different during her driving days after they broke up
Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick once admitted she would help Ricky Stenhouse Jr., her ex, win despite them splitting up in 2017.
Over the years, Patrick has never shied away from offering up her unfiltered thoughts on a number of topics. Recently, she gave her verdict on the energy an orgasm can give a woman, whilst also explaining how her previous relationship with four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers was “emotionally abusive” and mentally tiring.
The 43-year-old, who also competed in IndyCar, has frequently given her fans a glimpse into her life, like when she shared her shocking breakfast diet or battle with Breast Implant Illness.

And back in 2018 after she and Stenhouse Jr. split up following their five years together, Patrick admitted ahead of her final NASCAR race, the Daytona 500, that she would help the former win, if it was advantageous to her.
Prior to the race Patrick was asked whether she planned to drive any differently against Stenhouse Jr.
Speaking to For The Win, she said: "Not at all". Despite their breakup, she indicated that what happened on the track would remain unaffected and completely separate.
That then prompted her to point out Stenhouse Jr. had said in the build-up to the Daytona 500 that he planned to treat her the same way he would any other driver.
“When we first met, there was already respect there from the very beginning when we were just friends, so I don’t see that changing at all," she added. "It’s not going to change for me."

In the end, Patrick finished up her final NASCAR race in 35th place. Meanwhile, Stenhouse Jr. finished 29th.
Stenhouse Jr. is still racing in the Cup Series, sitting 18th in the current points standings after an impressive season. He's recently been in the headlines after a clash with Carson Hocevar, which prompted the latter to U-turn on his behavior.
Denny Hamlin is convinced Stenhouse Jr. will get retribution, which could come this weekend as NASCAR heads to Michigan.
