Carson Hocevar showed his true colors to Ricky Stenhouse Jr. after spat
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has admitted he and Carson Hocevar have seemingly buried the hatched following their recent NASCAR spat.
NASCAR star Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has admitted Carson Hocevar "feels bad" about their altercation earlier this month in the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
With the two battling for position in Nashville, Hocevar hit Stenhouse's No.47 Chevrolet in the left rear, which caused the latter to crash into the outside wall on Lap 106. Following the incident, Stenhouse revealed the 22-year-old had not reached out to him to apologize or explain himself, with Denny Hamlin among those to warn the youngster.
In the end, Hocevar did admit he felt bad, with a post of his remarks making its way on to X via Amazon Prime's NASCAR host Danielle Trotta outlining his remorse. "We don’t wanna put any more targets on my back. I feel bad, I’ve texted [with] Ricky if he wants to talk again Michigan we can," Trotta's post on X began.

And now Stenhouse has confirmed he and Hocevar did talk this past weekend at the FireKeepers Casino 400 in Michigan. Speaking on the 'Door Bumper Clear' podcast, Stenhouse gave his thoughts on the incident, which seemingly confirmed the pair had buried the hatchet.
"Yeah, you don't get those points back which is kind of tough for us," said Stenhouse. "Because, when you're averaging a 15th, 20th place car, going to get stage points is just very difficult."
"It definitely made it sting worse," added Stenhouse.
"And like I told him, like you're so fast right now, just drive around me. We're past that. Got back on the horse this weekend."
In true NASCAR fashion, Stenhouse and Hocevar were forced to share a garage stall this past weekend at Michigan International Speedway, forcing them together once again after this incident at the beginning of June.
However, that seemingly allowed the pair to bury the hatchet, with Stenhouse admitting he believes Hocevar "feels bad about it."

"He came and found me on the driver intro stage, you know he definitely feels bad about it," said Stenhouse when asked about if there is any residual frustration between the two.
"You know, I hope at least when he's around me, he thinks about that. Around anybody else, I guess I don't really care."
