Scott Jennings is going up in the world and the CNN ranks, it seems.
The firey CNN host has leveraged his popularity as the network’s resident MAGA voice into new heights, as he has reportedly landed a new contract.
According to Status News, Jennings, a veteran political strategist and respected voice in Republican circles whose analysis counters the network’s often left-leaning discussions, is set to receive a substantial pay increase, too.

However, details of the pay increase and the length of the contract have remained under wraps by the network and Jennings himself.
Jennings was reportedly keen on getting CNN to give him the go-ahead for his own show, whether online or on television, but bosses did not agree to the request, as per Status News.
The outlet's report shared that former CNN reporter Oliver Darcy revealed he’d been briefed that Jennings had secured the new deal with the network after months of negotiations.
Despite not securing his initial request, he was able to bag a hefty raise from the network thanks to significant interest from other suitors, which gave him leverage in talks with the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned outlet.
Darcy said: "Behind the scenes at CNN, MAGA pundit Scott Jennings has been busy over the last few months, not just reliably excusing Donald Trump’s appalling behavior on the network’s panels, but also negotiating a lucrative new contract, according to people familiar with the matter.
"Jennings is now in the final stages of those negotiations, and the terms are set to be quite favorable to him, I’ve learned," he added.
