Fans of The Bachelor will see a brand new mansion in the future, as the eponymous home where seasons of the franchise are filmed is getting a makeover in HGTV’s newest show.

The reveal, made during Warner Bros. Discovery’s upfronts, sees a big change coming to the mansion, which has been used in most seasons except for a few, and the first crossover between the ABC franchise and HGTV.

While stars from the various Bachelor Nation shows have often opened up about life in the mansion, which has been available for fans to rent as an Airbnb when filming doesn’t happen for an astronomical price tag, not much has changed about the property over the years.

That will be a different scenario after the new show hits TV screens and streamers. It is set to premiere in 2026 on HGTV and HBO Max and will feature Bachelor Nation alums as competitors.

“Now, HGTV shines the light on this recognizable estate, giving the property the facelift it finally deserves,” Warner Bros. Discovery said in a statement.

The press mrelease shared that past contestants from both The Bachelor and Bachelorette who “possess expert reno skills return to the house to duke it out in various design challenges with the hope of winning a cash prize.”

The home, in Agoura Hills, California, has consistently been the site for Bachelor and Bachelorette premieres, as well as the Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette shows, with a few weeks also filmed on location as dates take place in local settings.

The show then usually sees the cast take off on adventures around the world for later episodes.

There have been two instances where the show did not film at the mansion.

The first occurred during the COVID-19 Pandemic, with Season 16 of The Bachelorette, which starred Clare Crawley and later Tayshia Adams, filmed at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California for security, and the Men Tell All was conducted in a remote format with then-host Chris Harrison located at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.

Season 25 of The Bachelor also filmed remotely at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort due to the pandemic.

Season 21 of The Bachelorette, starring Jenn Tran, was also filmed at a different location, the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California, due to the original mansion being unavailable.
