Robert Irwin is 'manifesting' specific DWTS pro as his partner in upcoming season

Robert Irwin is set to compete on Season 34 of the hit ABC show Dancing with the Stars and has his eyes set on partnering with one pro: Rylee Arnold.

The celebrity zookeeper isn't the only one manifesting a partnership with the 19-year-old, as Rylee herself has put it out into the universe as well.

In September 2024, the professional dancer told the Lightweights podcast that she would love to see the Australian conservationist and television star, 21, as her future partner.

Now, as of April 22, it was revealed at Disney Entertainment Television's Get Real Event that the son of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin would be one of the celebrities competing in the upcoming Season 34.

"I cannot tell you what a privilege, what an honor it is to be joining this season," the star said at the event with a snake around his neck before recalling how his older sister Bindi Irwin competed on the show in 2015.

"I said, 'One day, that's gonna be me.' And now, that dream is a reality and I am over the moon. Let's do this!" Robert told the crowd.

Months ago, Rylee added on the podcast: “For some reason, I had this thought that Robert Irwin was gonna be my partner because I kind of had put it out into the atmosphere,” per Us Weekly.

“People were talking about it so much. People were tagging me in things. So, I was like, ‘It could be them,'" Arnold explained. “But at that point, I’m literally like, ‘I have no idea.’ And I did not know any of the celebrities until I was in the show.”

However, she was eventually paired with Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik for Season 33.

“But when Stephen was first announced, I was like, ‘He needs to be my partner.’ I was just like, ‘He’s awesome. I need someone like that as my partner this year,’ ” she continued.

Speaking to ET about being paired with Rylee, Irwin said: "That would be such a dream. She is just the coolest. I think the absolute world of her. I just think she's lovely.

"She's just got the most warm incredible energy and she is just - what a talent. Oh my goodness. Honestly, I would be over the moon. Let's make this happen. I'm manifesting Rylee."

On Reddit, fans voiced their opinions about the "manifesting."

One person said: "This is really cute this def sounds like he may have requested her so it’ll be interesting to see what happens. I totally get people wanting Britt to have a good partner too, and I’m still rooting for Dylan Efron for her, but I’d love Robert and Rylee."

Another said: "I can see them being paired together. They both young and he already said last year that he would love to dance with Rylee if he was on Dancing with the Stars. They will be very popular. "

A third said: "I’ve heard them say requests are “first come first serve” usually so looks like he has a big chance of being paired with Rylee."

A fourth penned: "Awww he seems like such a Lovely genuine person. I hope he gets paired with Rylee. Let’s be honest those ratings are going to be so good for the show."

However, one cautioned: "Now I feel it is going to be awkward if he gets anyone else. He realllly wants Rylee!"

Another agreed: "I agree lol he said in some other interview I saw that all the cast is great and he would be happy with anyone but its clear he would like to have Rylee.

"The reporter did kind of bait him with the answer and he could have just said he would like that and move on but he went more in depth then that lol not sure what's going to happen and kinda mad we have to wait like 4.5 months to see."
