Jeopardy fans ‘scream’ after all male contestants botch answers about women
Jeopardy fans were left fuming after a trio of male contestants failed to answer two questions correctly about famous female subjects.
Jeopardy fans were left fuming at a trio of male contestants during Thursday's episode after they failed to correctly name famous women in two instances during the broadcast.
While fans have also found themselves challenged by some of the answers on the show, and often fume when contestants miss things like the Final Jeopardy answer, the show still manages to perform well in ratings.
However, during the latest offering, three male contestants–Nick, Neeraj and Brandon–seemingly came up short when it came to naming the subjects of two answers about women.

The first incident came early on in the game, as the subjects of different Bestselling Nonfiction books were guessed.
One answer was about a recent title, Part One: The Memoir, and attributed to the singer of the song Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves.
However, none of the players wagered a guess, leading host Ken Jennings to reveal that the correct question was “Who is Cher?”
Viewers quickly reacted on social media, admitting they were shocked the men couldn’t figure out the answer.
“Cher!!! Tonight’s first scream!” one person wrote on X.
“They don’t know Cher?!???!” another asked.
“They don’t know Cher,” a third echoed.
However, fans were further left infuriated after Final Jeopardy, where the answer was: “Regarding the idea of ‘Women First,’ she queried, ‘Women demand equal rights on land–why not on sea?”
All three men guessed incorrectly, with Amelia Earhart, Phyllis Schafly and Eleanor Roosevelt. The correct answer was “The Unsinkable” Molly Brown from The Titanic.
Many quickly, once again, took to social media with their fury.
“I get mad when it lines up that all three jeopardy contestants are men,” one said.
